DO kids ever listen? hmmmmm......

FOr those of us who have kids, you often wonder if what you are saying ever gets through.
Well today, I heard evidence that actually...Yes!
Today Owen had freinds over. We always tell him to watch out for his little brother, Gabe. Not only because he is "the little borther", but also because of his speech problem.
Owen friends made a comment about Gabe's Wii playing and Owen goes, "It's ok, hes just a little dude."
And because of Gabe's speech problem, if you haven't been around him a lot, it can be hard to understand him. Owen friend said, "What is he saying?" Owen goes, "Its hard to understand him because when he was a baby he had lots of ear problems."
I was just so happy to see thoughtfulness in action and knowing that something that we have actually talked about a lot got through.
